Hi, my name is Verdier, and I am a married family man with 3 children and, part of a congregation that sticks together with others to help. The reason why I wanted to become a mentor is because I see my level of education and my passion to help families. I was a president of the youth in my church, and I realized that there are many children who fall into bad actions or are dying because no one is thinking about them. I want to help them, and I think I can play a big role in their lives. Everyone needs affection and time, and I believe that I can make a difference in their lives.

Parental guidance is also key in a child’s development. I want to help fathers with that. A true mentor is there to listen in both good and bad times, help him to guide and protect his child in life. I have influences in my life that help me with golf and with learning critical life skills that will aid me throughout life. A mentor can do that, I am grateful that I am a mentor.
