CHANGE A LIFE FOR GOOD.

In Southwest Florida, hundreds of kids have experienced abuse and neglect. These children, teens, and groups of siblings urgently need a safe, loving refuge. If you have ever felt called to care for kids, please consider opening your heart and home as a foster or adoptive parent now. You can make a difference for a lifetime.

Children’s Network of Southwest Florida will be with you every step of the way. We are the private, nonprofit lead agency that administers the child welfare system in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades Counties. Our mission is to work with the community to protect children and preserve families. And together we can change a life for good.

HAPPY NATIONAL ADOPTION MONTH

Children’s Network of Southwest Florida is delighted to join the nationwide celebration of adoption this November and every November. Adoption gives children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment a second chance at a forever family. While we always strive to reunite children in foster care with their families of origin whenever possible, when this cannot be done, adoption creates new lifelong connections for children. At CNSWFL, we celebrate the adoptive parents who have opened their hearts to give youth the priceless gift of home.

If you have ever considered adoption, National Adoption Month is the perfect time to learn more about becoming an adoptive parent to a local child, teen, or group of siblings. You can take the first step on your adoption journey by contacting us using the contact form on our adoption page. Reach out today to discover the joy of adoption!

CELEBRATING NATIONAL NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH

November is National Native American Heritage Month. Children’s Network of Southwest Florida honors the diverse cultures, rich history, and present contributions of Native Americans to our nation, state, and communities. National Native American Heritage Month dates back to 1990, when President George Bush signed into law a joint resolution that established this annual observance. We hope that everyone in Southwest Florida will join in National Native American Heritage Month by reflecting on the incredible legacy and enduring traditions of Native Americans.
